Hmmm, facility name changed from Pacifica Memory Care. Wonder why? Perhaps due to prior reputation among residents’ family members for sloppy accounting practices. Including improper rate increases and refusing to return prepaid rents following resident death. Shameful.

Mary Moore, the administrator at Pacifica is a gem. She is professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. My Mother-In-Law was a resident for only 5 days when she passed. The staff was accommodating and and process was so easy due to the outstanding service they provide. Miriam was also a big help to us and so compassionate. FYI.. I changed my rating as the follow up with our reimbursement for a month that was not used was very lengthy and difficult with no one returning phone calls or responding to emails.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my grandmother Judie Chesson and our WHOLE family to thank Pacific Senior Memory Care and their staff specifically Mary for caring for my grandmother during the final two months of her life. My grandmother was an amazing woman strong and independent her whole life, refused help from any of us. She became much more combative and difficult to handle in the last year which was so hard for our family to watch. (Those of us that were here actually involved and trying to help her) The nasty review that you may have previously read regarding Pacifica Senior care left by Jan Chesson is unwarranted and should not be taken into consideration when looking for a home for your loved one. The review was written by a disgruntled family member that didn’t care to show up or help out with her mother until it was time to start reading the will. My grandmothers ring or items were NOT STOLEN by anyone in this facility. As difficult as I know my grandmother can be, Pacifica was taking excellent care of my grandmother until her last breath and has been nothing but helpful to my mom my aunt and myself. They treated her with the dignity and respect that she deserves even when she was being the most difficult! How dare you bash this facility Jan Chesson when you haven’t been home to see her or call in over two years and all you are worried about is a ring!!!! SHAME ON YOU and your nasty reviews! You owe Pacifica, MARY AND THE WHOLE STAFF AN APOLOGY! ..... ps you haven’t been a Nurse since your license was revoked 20 years ago and knock your attorney threats off. They were good to your mother WE KNOW BECAUSE WE WERE HERE! “ So put that in your pipe and smoke it” as grama would say 😉😉

My Mom went in with an Antique Star Ruby and Diamond Ringshe had about 50 years. When she suddenly passed away, my Sister went in for her belongs and " No Ring". My Sister also went home with nothing of what my Mother brought in or was bought for her during her 2 Month horrible pathetic stay there. She's missing all her clothes, under clothes a blanket, pillow and a few other personal items. I know my family did donate quite a few things to this place so I really hope the people's items that went home with my family were replaced with our donations. At this price, the Staff should'nt be helping themselves to personal items from a person that has passed away. I'm an RN. I've seen this before. It happens more often than people realize. I will pay them a visit to see if they found it which I already know the answer. I think my Lawyer will have better luck. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. It more than disgusts me. There are just no words how pathetic this really is!
