Our House Senior Living – Wausau Assisted Care

Nice clean facility where the people are cared for with dignity and respect. The staff and management are kind, caring and loving people always willing to help out and go the extra to make sure all needs are met for all your loved ones that reside there. Blessings to all the residents and staff!

We brought our loved one to Our House Assisted Living about 10 months ago. Moving out of your home is not easy but the staff at Our House made this a smooth transition for him. He loves the meals and the friendships he has formed. They go on outings and do crafts and other activities. They have musicians come into entertain quite often. He says the staff are great and he calls them his sweeties. I'm so happy that all the staff who welcomed him to his new home are still there making every day great. Thank you to all the staff at Our House for your loving care.

My mother turned 102 after a long stint living alone in her own home. When her body started betraying her, we made the difficult decision to seek alternate care for her. With a sharp mind but a body that doesn't cooperate, it was important to find a facility that would treat her as an independent woman who simply needed help to do some day to day activities that used to come easily. She's only been here a week but after just half a day of getting used to not being in her home, mom has been gushing about how nice her room is, how attentive EVERY staff member has been to her needs, how quickly they come when she presses "the button" and the quality of the food. Carefully watching her mood as she goes through this major change, my family has seen her apprehension about her future disappear and her acceptance of what will be her final home rise. Our minds have been eased, thanks to the staff and especially the management at Our House in Wausau that has made this transition honorable, respectful and comforting. 5 stars to them all.

Our House Assisted Living has been an absolutely wonderful place for my mother for over 18 months and counting. The staff; from management, nurses or aids all treat my mom with love and care. She is fed home cooked meals and snacks. She gets the love, attention and care along with extra patience from the staff, when she has bad days. When I arrive for visits they update me as to how my mom has been doing and if they have any concerns. Our family has been pleased and appreciates the love and excellent care our mom receives at Our House Assisted Living. They make our mom feel at home. We are thankful for how the staff goes above and beyond to care for their residents.
