I cannot state enough great things about this home for senior citizens. Hannah has went above and beyond to help me find a home that my mom would feel comfortable in. The facility is safe. They have activities the residents may choose to participate in. The facility is clean and very well maintained. They serve the residents their meals. There is very warm, caring staff that want to be there and want to help residents in their little community. Hannah was extremely kind, supportive and knowledgeable in the process of moving your loved one with the challenges that come with that move.

The staff here is so friendly. Hannah does a great job giving tours and welcoming the new families that are moving in. The building is truly beautiful. I love all the big windows around the dining room area.

My experience with Old Main Village has been very rewarding. Their team does a great job of offering educational opportunities for their residents and staff and promoting interactive activities to promote social wellness.

Treat family like trash. Elderly mom left in room without functioning phone. Have had mom reach out in a panic and says she’s confused and not sure if she is, “in the other apartment.” Mom in a panicked voice requested for me to call her, but unable to get a call to her due to a non functioning phone. Left in the dark about my mom’s condition for an hour and a half. Bonnie the director stated my panic about my mom’s condition is not her concern.; And made it clear I have no rights to talk w her or staff about my concerns for my mother. Mom has asked me to take her to St Paul, multiple time. Also, I am a RN. Treated with disregard by director and receptionist. Director, and other administration staff treat me with contempt over this issue. The phone issue is years old. Refuse to engage in conversation with me about my mom. Director unresponsive to phone calls.Director show contempt for family needs. Have had to call 911 for a wellness check twice, as of late. Her high school friend reached out to me out of concern. Unable to get ahold of her by phone. Mom’s blind and on hospice. Her own support system is unable to reach her. HS friend concerned about condition of apt. Annette the receptionist has refused to connect me w/my mom, or the director. She argues with me and treats me like trash. The food is horrendous. Mom complains about it. It looks like vomit on a plate. Contempt and disdain is the currency of Annette, Bonnie and administrative staff. The direct caregivers are extended beyond anything reasonable. In past speaking of falls in other parts of the bldg. The CNA’s work hard and for the most part are caring and understand my and my mother’s concerns. Unable to have a relationship with my mom due to the antagonistic nature of Annette and Bonnie. This is what end of life care and family involvement look like! Very distressing for myself and her best friend.
