Overview
At Oak Gardens Place in Altoona, we offer compassionate care in a small, homelike setting. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.
Residents in community can keep up with hobbies or discover new ones. We offer a variety of activities, such as exercise classes, book club, bingo, happy hour, Christmas carols, and movie nights. Oak Gardens Place is beautiful, clean & very homey! The staff that we met from Cleaning, the Kitchen, Activities, the Nurse, the Coordinator & the Director are so kind, compassionate & they answered all of our questions. The rooms that we toured are very nice, very clean, they have kitchenettes with plenty of cabinets, good size mini-refrigerator, microwave & they are spacious! The food we had there for lunch was so delicious! The activities, games & the outings they have listed for the residents sound fabulous! There is a pretty patio area too.

I've had the pleasure of working with Jen, the Director of Sales at Oak Gardens Place. She is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about the residents she helps move into the community. The facility is clean, and the staff are always so friendly. Highly recommend!

My mom was a resident at Oak Gardens Place for 9 months before she passed. She had wonderful care. Every one there went above and beyond caring for her. I definitely recommend. Ryan has been a blessing.
