My Mom is no stranger to assisted living. She has been in five in two years. I have experienced each of the places except for the last one in Texas. Which was a nightmare. My mom aged ten years in just two years. Now you want to talk about isolation that was isolation. I had no address and no way to contact her. My mom’s distant grandchild and great grandchild manipulated my 92 year old mother into changing her POA and changing her will. Of course to benefit them. OAKMONT is the best facility she has ever been in. The staff is amazing. Patience like I have never experienced. And the way they speak to my mom! It’s like family. They tell her she is loved and assures them they will return. The staff makes everything else happen.

We toured several other facilities before receiving a high recommendation from a coworker who encouraged us to check out Oakmont. We toured Oakmont and then cancelled the remaining tours we had scheduled. It was the best decision we made! From move-in to move-out the entire staff was incredibly accommodating. I can’t thank Oakmont enough and I recommend that others at least take a tour of Oakmont before deciding on a place to live for your loved ones!! Great location, best prices and an exceptional staff!

My grandmother has been at resident at Oakmont for almost 5 months,I picked her up from a previous out of state assisted living facility and it was like night and day. The cleanliness alone was worth the change. I had never seen my grandmother live like she was living. She has been through it and was so depressed and defeated. Took her a couple months to adjust to the change but with the help of Oakmont’s staff she is thriving, back to her old self and full of life again which I wasn’t sure that was going to happen with someone who is almost 92 yrs old . I am there atleast 5 days a week,so I am able to observe not only how my grandmother is treated but how all the other residents are treated as well. Assisted living usually isn’t enjoyable ,sometimes it’s depressing but not at Oakmont. I actually look forward to going there. The facility it’s self is beautiful, apartments upgrated with crown molding,fresh paint and new flooring as well as the large courtyard/garden. Don’t think I’ve seen the same dinner special twice, there is a lot of options for meals. My grandmother is hard to please at times but tells me they have they best breakfast in town! I offer to take her out to eat but most the time she ops to eat at Oakmont,they have her spoiled! Caring for seniors is not for the weak… but the staff does it all with so much grace and patience, even when faced with challenges. We look forward to the weekly happy hour performers, sports shown in the movie theater and events they throw for all the holidays. We are all always welcomed with a smile when we come to visit and greeted by name always. When I pick her up , they will have her dressed and ready to go at the front door, making it easy to just pull up and get her in the car,which is helpful. Big shout out to Heather, Rigo, Jessica , Crystal, Ioana,Shannon ,Tess, Rochelle, Diamond, Chantel,Chef Sue and the other amazing people that help my grandmother in this chapter of her life! We appreciate you all more than you know! I would definitely recommend checking out Oakmont for your loved ones!

Such a great community! Super clean and always feels welcoming. The Executive Director is awesome. She really cares and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Highly recommend!
