We brought my dad Mr. R. To Oak Park Village. The best choice we could of made. After visiting many facilities in the slidell area we chose them. First Mrs. Jennifer was very informative, she listened, she cared and made the process very easy and comfortable. They have activities all the time, the food is good, yes you can eat with your loved one there and participate in happy hour too. Everything from the putting greens to the movie theater is clean, staff is pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you or your loved one is in need. Thank you to the entire staff at Oak Park Village.

Our family will always be deeply grateful for the care and compassion shown to our grandparents during their time at Oak Park Village Assisted Living. Both of my grandparents were residents in memory care, and entrusting their wellbeing to others was not a decision we took lightly. From the very beginning, the staff treated them with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. Memory care requires a special level of attentiveness, empathy, and professionalism, and Oak Park consistently demonstrated all three. The caregivers and staff showed sincere respect for our grandparents as individuals, not just residents, and took the time to understand their needs, routines, and personalities. That level of personalized care brought our family comfort and reassurance during an emotionally significant chapter of our lives. We were also consistently impressed by the professionalism of the team as a whole. Communication was thoughtful and respectful, concerns were addressed promptly, and the environment fostered a sense of safety and calm. I moved into Oak Park Village a few months ago with my husband. We were scared to leave home because we didn't want to loose our independence, but we have not! We have our own private apartment with a small kitchen a living room, bedroom and our own bathroom. Our apartment is just like a real apartment but with so many more amenities. We get all our laundry and housekeeping done weekly. Our trash picked up daily and all our food is home cooked and taste AMAZING! The staff is amazing and check on me often, even if I don't press my button! The staff is so friendly and caring. I would recommend Oak Park Village to everyone if your looking for an Assisted Living or Memory care community!

Oak Park Village was my family’s saving grace. My mom’s health declined and I needed help caring for her. She had a nice apartment to live in with activities everyday to attend if she wanted to. Up until her last day on earth side everyone was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
