It’s such a great feeling and peace of mind to know that my grandma is in good hands! I especially want to thank Amanda and the caregivers for all they do for her.

Jesse, the Activities Director at New Perspective, works hard to implement activities that the residents are able to take part in. He organized a fishing trip for the Memory Care residents and takes them for ice cream as well. He makes sure that he makes connections with the residents.

While everything seemed to be great when I moved my mother in to New Perspective Senior Living in Howard a little over one year ago, things gradually fell apart quickly. I began to notice quick turnover of staff and that is never good. Laundry services are particularly troubling as mother’s sweaters have been ruined, her quilt was washed and shrunk even though specific directions were given to let family clean it (they did reimburse us for it which helped), and shirts, underwear, towels and wash cloths are missing despite repeated conversations with staff. Laundry baskets have gone missing. Cleaning services are less than stellar and friends that visit notice the same. I am very frustrated and don’t know how they are rated outstanding. There have been some caring aides along the way and I have been grateful for them, but they never stay. To me that says something about a company. I have reached out to the director and they have offered to reimburse for lost items. I don’t want to continue to purchase new things every time I come there. Not sure what it’s going to take to turn this around.
