I chose to live in Mulberry Glen after visiting several other places. I like the relaxed environment and the friendly community of people. The Staff is caring and competent. It really makes me feel safe and like home here!

I was living on my own in Racine in a small apartment after my husband died. My sister-in-law Donna moved into Mulberry Glenn and sent photos of her new place and invited me to see it. I was tired of living alone and afraid of driving at my age. My son is a professor at UW-Whitewater and he wanted me to live closer to him and his family. I took a tour of Mulberry Glenn with my son and daughter-in-law and knew it was the place for me! What more could I ask for? The church is on my right and my doctor’s office is on my left. Walmart, Aldi and Starbucks are across the street. And, of course, my Mocha Frappes from McDonalds are only a block away. I put my name on the waiting list that day! I moved in September and and am very happy. What a good place to live!

I've been here for 4 months and it's exactly what I thought it would be from reviews from other friends. After my husband passed away, I wanted to be in a place that made me feel safe and I'm happy to say that I do feel safe here. I've met so many nice friends here, the days go by really fast because there's always something going on.

After my husband passed away at the age of 79 i never imagined myself living in a place like this. But i have found since i moved here there is no place I'd rather be. The staff is very welcoming and caring, and there is always something to do. We do a lot if social activities that I enjoy and if you are interested in card games, we do a lot of that too! There's also multiple puzzles going on around the building that you can do if you enjoy that. The staff is very accommodating, they do what they can and I appreciate that. It is great to be able to socialize with men and women alike that have a lot of the same problems and age differences. I have lived around whitewater/Fort Atkinson area so I do know a lot of people because I have grew up with them so they make it feel like home.
