Sally at Mount Lake Terrace Plaza is a truly wonderful person. As the first face you see when you walk in, she sets a tone of genuine warmth with her constant smile and welcoming spirit. She is the heart of the community and the go-to person for questions of all kinds, coordinating the daily services with the residents that keep things running smoothly for everyone. Her dedication to both my mom and dad since 2016 meant the world to our family. I will never forget the way she looked after them with such consistent kindness. What truly sets Sally apart is her remarkable patience. She has a natural ability to sit with residents and meet them exactly where they are, offering a calm and steady presence that is so deeply needed in a senior living environment. She has a unique gift for navigating the daily needs of the residents with grace, never appearing rushed or overwhelmed. It isn't just about the tasks she performs; it is about the way she makes people feel—truly seen and respected. We are immensely grateful for the years of care she gave to my parents and for the kindness she continues to show every person who walks through those doors.

My volunteer experience right here has been one of the most satisfying and rewarding moments of my life. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt a sense of warmth, belonging, and care that is difficult to find elsewhere. Anne, the Director of Life Enrichment, is the heart and soul of this community. Her strength, creativity, and compassion fill every area she enters. Whether playing games for a laugh, redecorating for activities, or virtually bringing smiles to the residents' faces, Anne and her assistant Dona make every moment memorable. You can see how much she loves her work; her kindness and determination win people over wherever she goes. Everyone right here is clearly tremendous, each with their own unique stories, humor, and sparkle. Spending time with them, whether playing games, going on a trip, socializing, or just enjoying each other's company, made my days. It's wonderful to see how much they take care of and love each other, and the way this community feels like one massive own family. Mountlake Terrace Plaza is a shining example of what care is undoubtedly all about, where volunteers and citizens alike are loved, valued, and showered with love. Thanks, Anne, and every member of the MLT Plaza staff, for making this place so very unique 🙏🙏.

I have been volunteering over there for the past 2 months, and I enjoyed spending time with the residents whether if it was presenting a presentation to them or just talking or playing games with them. My experience in Mountlake Terrace Plaza so far has been fantastic

I start each weekday at this facility by walking the wonderful dog of one of the residents. I felt inclined to leave this review because I find this facility to be so superior to some that I have visited over the past years. I can’t think of a time where I’ve encountered a staff member who didn’t have a smile on their face, or a friendly greeting. They are always helpful and patient. It seems like people are truly happy to be living there and working there. The staff person I deal with most often is Sally and every time I see her interacting with others it is friendly and with a smile on her face. I wish all senior communities were like this one!
