I wanted to love this facility and call it home and got as far as having my friends help getting a car load to the front door and unload only to be confronted by the administrator who confronted me to say that corporate had changed their policy and my room was no longer available! I loved the salesperson Tom Gosdin who was extremely helpful and courteous throughout my horrible ordeal! It’s all on the corporate office or the administrator but someone has lost their sense of human decency and in this field it is very important to put the person and their families first when choosing to live with them. It’s stressful enough as it is and not only were my friends put out but I ended up in the hospital over the extreme stress of it all. I have Addison’s disease which leaves me without stress hormones so it definitely affected my health. I’m moving in to a ALF for this reason and not only did I feel terrible about my friends being so put out (and now having to help me again with what they already have) but also my very reason for moving in was negatively affected! I continue my search but my lesson learned here is avoid Morada facilities as corporate will change their policies without notice (which is against the law) and leave you stranded and alone even when the paperwork has been processed and you’re there to unload. Run from Morada!! I hope you find your special home for yourself or your loved ones! Tom Gosdin thanks again for everything you did for me, including going the extra mile for me! He even drove to my doctors office to update my insulin order to fit Medicare guidelines to avoid delaying the move) I know some people are still in this business for all the right reasons and after this it’s reassuring to know! My blessings to you and yours! * I noticed several have filed reports to the state of Texas on this facility and sadly I add my name to the list! Ombudsman has also been notified of their shady business dealings and will be instigating a report. Remember they are here for us so utilize their support! Update: called “owner” at number below: recorded message said “yo”! Then dead air! I’ve always wondered what happened after you call the number they throw out in an attempt to cover their shady business and now you know. I’m very sad to see a company in the ALF business that doesn’t care about you. Not a single bit. Do not place your loved one here.

The facility staff goes above and beyond to care for the residents The changes made to the kitchen over the past 12 months are noticeable and a huge improvement. The decor and feel of the place isn't nursing facility vibes, it's "I'm home!" vibes.

If you notice, most positive reviews are from 2 years ago. The quality of the facility has gone downhill. The caregivers are sweet and caring but grossly overworked because management is more interested in making the lobby and exterior appealing but have a closed door approach to much else. The floors and walls are nasty. The food is not good and unappealing. The director, Jennifer, tells you what you want to hear but makes no change. In the year we were there, the updates promised to the unit were never done. Always on “back order.” Probably not the worst facility, but definitely not one I would recommend.

I had the worst experience there when I got ready to move the Adminstrator refuse to open the side door for my family to help me move out so he stated it was a Hazzard violation but he help move my sofa through that same door that he refuse to open so we end up moving my things through my bedroom window it took awhile but we got it done but I can say the marketing sales director help us load the truck and help unload the truck as well so tier are still good people in the world but the Adminstrator no way I would have did anyone with health disabilities like he did me but moving along I'm in a better place God guided me there. AMEN
