My mom was in memory care here for just under a year. This was not a good place for her. Reasons: 1) Poorly staffed and some of the staff had piercings and tattoos covering their faces and arms - what do you think a person with dementia thinks of this appearance, scary would be my guess, especially if those people used harsh language and had harsh reactions towards the resident. My mother was afraid. 2) There was never enough help at meals to help feed those that couldn’t feed themselves. 3) Carpets were dirty and smelled like excrement and urine and my mom’s room was seldom cleaned. Dirty, sticky floors and dirty toilet. I kept a broom, mop, and cleaning items in my car so I could clean her room when I visited. 4) They couldn’t keep a CMA. So, you never knew who you could talk to about issues that would arise. Lastly, I’ll say that I know it’s a hard and thankless job to care for the elderly, but that’s what the job is. I didn’t necessarily blame the staff, but mostly the poor management style from the office.

Being in long term care myself, I have trusted Morada with MANY of our residents when they needed more than traditional assisted living care. Morada is absolutely WONDERFUL when it comes to working with individuals needing specialized care for dementia and Alzheimer's. Their community has trained staff who specialize in working with a higher acuity patients and they are incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate. The facility is always clean, the food always smells delicious, and the staff (from the housekeeping and maintenance team, to the nursing staff and Executive Director) are always so welcoming and friendly. I will continue to send people I love here when they need this type of care! They are so easy to work with to get people the services they need.

This establishment is phenomenal! My mother decided to was time to move on to the next "chapter" of her life and after much soul searching, we both decided on Morada. The Morada staff are kind and compassionate, and actually care about the residents who are living there! The food is great, and my mom really enjoys participating in the various activities that are planned each month! Today, she planting a flower garden! But, most importantly, she's happy. And that is all I care about.

Great assisted living!!! The staff is loving and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean, and updated. The residents go on great outings. It has been a wonderful transition for my family. We appreciate all they have done for us to make things so comfortable!
