I have lived here about a year now and I can tell you this is true to my home. I love this place so much and especially all the new administration. We can always count on Tammy, David, Francis and everyone else to feed us love us, protect us and make sure that it all is well. Recently, one of our friends was being taken advantage of and they made sure to take care of our friend. I’m so glad that I’m here and I feel safe.

Absolutely the worst decision we have ever made was to put my mom in Morada! They have not kept my mother clean and her room, as well as the whole place smells awful like urine! Friends would come to take my mom to lunch and have complained about how bad she smells. I put in a 30 day notice to move her and when I went to pick her up, they refused to let her leave with me and have had me criminally trespassed for absolutely no reason at all! I have always picked my mom up every week and now I can’t even go on the property. Tammy Young is the worst of the staff and claims to have my mother’s best interest at heart, but restricting her from seeing her family certainly is not in her best interest. Me and all of her grandchildren are her world and with her Alzheimer’s, she needs her family. I agree with several other of the reviews on here about serious financial issues, as well! They have been trying to draft way more than what we were supposed to be charged for months now and tacking on all kinds of false late fees! This place is the worst place ever! Please do not put your loved ones in here under any circumstances!!!

So happy to see my best friend in this place, they have good food, loving staff, and have protected my best friend from so much I can’t even begin to describe. Tammy has gone out of her way to take care of my Ruthie and I will appreciate her forever for all the love she has shown every resident and every visitor that comes in the door. This new administration is top-notch, God bless you, Tammy and thank you for all you do!

I would just like to share that the administration of morada Abilene is absolutely uncompromising in their quest for excellence. Tammy, Francis, David, Michelle, and Tristan have worked tirelessly to ensure that the property runs and everyone is cared for at the greatest level of competency. Tammy is tireless and her pursuit of excellent and healthcare, and making sure that every aspect of Morada is top notch. I would recommend anybody who is seeking an assistant living facility to aggressively choose Morada
