They made promises regarding care, meals, facilities, and financials that they did not keep. When you visit, it is common to press the buzzer and still wait 5 minutes to be let in, even though there is someone in the office adjacent to the doors. She doesn't get up to answer the door. Grilled cheese and potato chips is not a fit meal for dinner. Once a week (maybe) is not frequent enough to clean an elderly person's bathroom. The nurse should be, at the bare minimum, verbally checking on residents daily. If the staff spent less time on their phones and more time engaging with the people in their care, I guess that would be nice. I was unable to locate a nurse on the weekend. Why would you house a temporary recovery patient in the memory care unit? There's not one resident in that space that can hold a conversation. Get every detail in writing before you bring your loved one here. Some good individuals but I wouldn't return here.

I have been here a handful of times to visit my friend. It is a beautiful place inside but I was not impressed by the staff. They are always on their phones, lounging in the resident areas instead of conversing with them. I have yet to see the Director Nicole or Assistant Director Cindy out of their office actually monitoring the staff. I have had the pleasure of meeting the sales lady J.P. She has come through on numerous occasions and even stops and visits with residents and visitors. She is nothing short of spectacular! The activity calendar is very sad, where are the outings? My friend and myself have voiced our concerns but they go on deaf ears to management here. Does the company that owns Milestone make sure management is actually managing or do they take their word for it? Hopefully someone finally takes note and actually does something about this.

I love my apartment here at Milestone. The staff has been very caring, professional and friendly. They have a difficult job dealing with those of us loosing more and more of our independence, our ability to take care of ourselves and do all the simple things we took for granted. I know myself it makes me sad and I really have to work with myself to keep a positive attitude. Feeling very thankful to have had Milestone found for me and to be settled in. Thanks to you all for being so kind.

I went on a tour of Milestone Senior Living Cross Plains with Jennifer Purdy this week. She was amazing from the beginning of the tour to the end. Got to know the family, really listened to their needs/concerns, and addressed all the families questions. She was fantastic and followed up with things right away to set up respite for the spouse. Thank you Jennifer!!
