Our mom was reluctant to go into Senior Living. But after being in her own home and somewhat isolated, she really started to enjoy the friendships and camaraderie at Merrill Gardens. We soon knew she had picked a good one. Actually, a fellow Greek who was a resident wholeheartedly recommended it. This woman had been at a more expensive place where the food (and the vibe!) wasn't nearly as good. The spaces are modern and attractive, and the hallways and apartments are very nice, with high ceilings and plenty of windows and light. As her daughter, I ate there once in awhile. It was always good, and our mom could get food between 7am - 7pm, such a nice luxury. She enjoyed the bingo, arts & crafts, special guests and music, and local outings. She felt very safe there, loved the sweet staff, and felt like it was home. She recently passed, but spent 3+ solid years there. The staff, starting with Director Sherry, always had time for mom and her family and had a wonderful balance of protective and caring over the residents, but not micro-managing or heavy-handed with them. I strongly recommend Merrill Gardens. I hope they have room for me in about 20 years!

My mother in law has been at Merrill Gardens for a couple of years now and I have to say we are very impressed in so many ways. First, the care they provide goes above and beyond and my mother in law is so happy there. Also, the entire staff is caring and kind, including the director Sherry Fisher. She is always available to listen and offer support for any concern we have. We are so happy we made the choice in choosing Merrill Gardens for the care of the matriarch of our family.

My mom resides here and the manager, Sherry, and her staff are amazing! They treat the residents very well and I truly feel comfort in knowing my mom is staying in a place that cares not only about their physical needs, but also their emotional needs! There’s always fun activities planned, so that my mom can get out and about, enjoying her senior years! I would highly recommend this facility to your loved ones! ❤️❤️❤️

I had to move quickly and I came to Merrill Gardens 1 month ago. Throughout my transition the staff here went above and beyond to welcome me and help anyway they could to make this as comfortable and as stress free as possible. Every staff member I encounter are engaging friendly and put me at ease immediately. The residents are wonderful, they have welcomed and greet me warmly evertime we meet each other. The unit is comfortable with a stove top, refrigerator, microwave , walk in closet and washer dryer. Need I say more. The food is wonderful and the wait staff are great. I could go on and on but I am so thankful to be living here.
