I am so happy we found this assisted living community for my mom. The staff has been kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring, making what could have been a difficult transition much easier. I hadn't visited McLoughlin Place in over a year, and I was amazed by the transformation. The remodeled facility is beautiful—bright, airy, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The new management has done an incredible job creating an environment that truly feels like home. What stands out the most, though, is the level of care and respect they show to the residents and their families. Knowing my mom is in a place where people genuinely care about her well-being gives me tremendous peace of mind. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a caring, supportive, and uplifting place for a loved one.

What a facility. Their remodel was beautiful. We were able to have lunch prior to our tour of the facility for a future new family resident. Food was fantastic. Service and cleanliness - 5 stars. Biggest thing for me was the Staff. The team here really gets it - they are experienced, kind, mindful, patient, and hospitable. They are true professionals but enjoy to make people feel welcome and apart of the family - along with having some fun! We could not get our family member signed up fast enough to transition into this beautiful community. The atmosphere reminds you of a 5 star hotel with the luxury of being independent. If care is needed, there is a full staff of professionals that are willing and able to tend to your loved ones' needs by creating a care plan. I couldn't be more excited for our family member to begin their new life at MP. I sure will be visiting A LOT :)

My grandmother lived here for a little over 10 years. She passed away in 2024 and I am now writing this review. When she first got here everybody was friendly and cared. She was sad about not being to live at home but the employees at the time cared and treated her very well. Over the years they had a high turnover rate and what seemed to be issues with billing and answering the phone. When they would answer the phone they were rude. My grandmother was an Asian woman and was the sweetest lady, all of the other residents would stop me when I would visit her just to tell me how much they loved her and how nice she was. That being said, she would mention how she felt the employees there neglected her and treated her differently because of her race. It broke my heart to hear this. She fell multiple times with nobody to check on her. They let her walk by herself to the Safeway across the street where she got lost and FELL outside and ended up in the ER. There was no accountability. Eventually her health started to go downhill and McLoughlin senior living just never took the urgency to let us know how she was doing because it just ws not possible to see her every single day. They would jsut say she’s fine. January 2024 she had broken ribs from a fall and just kept taking advil worsening her kidneys and eventually had kidney failure and no reports from the facility about the fall or injuries. She just wasn’t being herself so we took her to the hospital which is where we found out everything that was wrong. Unfortunately she only made it until April of 2024. Just be cautious about bringing your loved ones here if you aren’t Caucasian. Do your research. Do whatever you can to be involved and check in. They rarely will answer the phone and just do what they can to take your money. I hope that they have a better hiring process now in 2026 for people who genuinely care about taking care of senior citizens and are not just doing it for an “easy” paycheck.

honestly can’t thank Katie at McLaughlin Place enough for everything she did for my grandma and our family. Touring assisted living options for my grandma was such an emotional and difficult thing for us. We were worried about how she would adjust, if she would feel comfortable, and just overall struggling with the reality of such a big change. From day one, Katie made us feel so much better. She was kind, patient, understanding, and truly cared about my grandma as a person, not just someone coming in for a tour. She took the time to talk with us, answer all of our questions, and made sure my grandma felt welcomed and comfortable every step of the way. What stood out the most was how genuine she was. Nothing felt forced or fake. You could tell she truly cares about the residents and the families going through these transitions. She brought so much comfort to our family during a really emotional time, and I don’t think she realizes how much that meant to us. Seeing my grandma smiling and feeling comfortable during the tour honestly meant everything to us, and a huge part of that was because of Katie’s kindness. We are so thankful for her and the care she showed our grandma. Thank you again Katie!
