We selected Maplewood at Strawberry Hill (“MSH”) as an Assisted Living community for my Brother after meeting with the Senior Management Teams at several comparable residences in lower Fairfield County. We did so because we believed that its Team was highly experienced, enlightened and deeply committed to the welfare of the residents. Our daily visits over the subsequent seven weeks have confirmed that our decision was the right one. The members of the Team are very concerned about his wellbeing and growth, interact with him regularly and have been extremely responsive to our questions and concerns. MSH’s facilities are attractive, accommodate the dynamics of the community and make the residents feel very comfortable. The Nursing staff is extremely capable, and the Lifestyle Director engages the community in social and educational activities every week in an attempt to stimulate them. The food, which is prepared fresh by an experienced chef daily, is terrific. A walk through the hallways at MSH suggests that the residents are well groomed and dressed, that they have smiles on their faces, and that many are out of their apartments engaging with other residents. The Residential Assistants are very friendly, appear to enjoy their positions at MSH and provide services which greatly improve the lives of the residents. My Brother is very happy at MSH, and his condition and demeanor have improved while he has been there. We recommend that other family members who are seeking quality Assisted Living and Memory care for their loved ones consider MSH seriously.

The staff at Maplewood at Strawberry Hill, Norwalk, CT are outstanding! They are kind, compassionate and loving. I never leave without a smile on my face knowing that my father is safe and well-cared for. The facility is sparkling clean, bright and cheery. The amenities are first-class. My father is enjoying the activities each day and I can hardly reach him because he is in one or another class or outing. It makes our family very happy to have Dad here. I never come into the facility without being greeted and the staff makes us all feel like family. They are accommodating and approachable, every single one of them. It is a pleasure to meet people who truly love their jobs and the people they care for. Thank you for making this an wonderful experience for us all.

Maplewood was a great solution for my brother and our family. They took on our needs and presented a plan that worked for us. When things got complicated they stepped in and helped us. From the top down to the janitors they were friendly, quick to help and so supportive. My brother received excellent care and compassion.

Five stars and two thumbs up to the incredible staff at the Maplewood at Strawberry Hill. My 93 year old father has been a resident there for over ten years, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the Maplewood. They are patient and caring and treat my dad with kindness. They ensure that he feels happy and safe. Danielle, the executive director, really does an amazing job! She sets the tone for creating a positive atmosphere. Danielle and the staff make the Maplewood feel like home. They go out of their way to make sure my dad and others are not just looked after but treated like family. We are so thrilled to have found the Maplewood and to have my dad surrounded by people who truly care!
