Maple Hill Senior Living Reviews

The place is very clean, residents appear happy!... But this is just a cover up for extremely incompetent management! The director doges calls like no other as I have been trying to get a tour with her for the past 3 months, but I was told she doesn't do weekends and that's the only time I have for my uncle to tour. They never seem to have a senior nurse. While I have waited to have a general tour by staff on the weekend it seems like their floor nurses have compassion for residents but are borderline incompetent and unsafe. I question the mental stability and clarity of the nurses due to their OPEN discussions about being medicated themselves. CNAs constantly complained about being overworked and anyone can hear this. Very apparent they have staff that is not up to the challenge or if their director is doding referral calls maybe she doges them too! Thank you so much for refusing to do a weekend tour. Your staff showed me that this wouldn't have been an appropriate place for my loved one. Reading another review they could be very accurate by saying this place is a joke. Poor management or lack of management presence speaks volumes!

Things have improved over the last month. Interim administrator and office manager Sylvia is professional caring and interactive with both staff and residents. Look forward to this continuing. This facility is a more upbeat and friendly atmosphere than past months. Residents deserve quality care and a positive home environment. A few months later now Sylvia is doing an awesome job. Thank you for trusting her in this important position . Professional friendly and she and the staff have made courtyard a caring and positive environment! Thankful to have her!

My mother moved into Courtyard Estates in Monmouth to gain strength after a nasty bout of Covid. She likes the facility and staff so much she decided to stay on. There have been some positive staffing changes recently which has created a very nice atmosphere and confidence in care. Mom is happy, I am happy.

In just a year, Sylvia has made a big impact in changing the way that the facility has ran and cared for. I believe she has been a great asset to that establishment and the healthcare of all the families loved ones that she takes care of.
