Mantey Heights Care Center

My sister was at Mantey Heights. She left the facility and walked home (made it 4 hours later) Our family needed support and guidance during this difficult time . Messages to the facility were not returned, When calling the facility the phone would ring and ring. One time a resident answered. Lack of communication and the negative attitude from a few staff members was upsetting My heart breaks for the residents, families and staff. It is obvious that the staff needs more support and better pay!

Do not judge a book by it's cover! We had our loved on at Cappella and they were wonderful (we highly recommend that place for assisted living), but she needed more care then their staff could provide. We used to drive by Mantey on our way home from Cappella and swore we would never go there...until we had to find a new place for our loved one. Boom! Mantey Heights has a wonderful staff, not only the nurses, but the cleaning staff, activities, kitchen, and maintenance ~ they are all so good!! They have made so many improvements even in the short time we had our loved one there. The grass is green and the place is clean...you can smell the cleanliness as soon as you walk in! So we highly recommend Mantey for your loved ones!

Mantey Heights Care Facility was there for my sister and I when she was released after a week in the hospital. She needed a place to call home due to her many deteriorating conditions. After living there over a year and a half I, as her guardian, feel it was the right choice. The nursing staff offer her excellent care, the activities staff offer many activities for residents of all abilities, the physical rehab dept provides on-site equipment and staff and, the kitchen offers nutritional food. Her visiting physician is a knowledgeable gerontologist who answers our questions as needed. Administration, including a social worker, is always available to answer questions and help provide solutions if needed. The most important benefit to us has been on-site hospice care through Hopewest who provides an RN, an aide and a pastor. No nursing home is perfect but Mantey has helped my sister continue living her best life as much as possible.

I contacted Tawana at Mantey Heights regarding residency for my mother, and I just want to say how comfortable Tawana has made My mom and I feel about her care. Tawana has been very responsive, very informative, very friendly, which makes me feel good about my mom’s care there. Other staff members I’ve communicated with have been very professional and friendly as well. I am a business owner and customer service is of the most important to me.
