Lighthouse at Lincoln

My mom recently became a resident at the Lighthouse, and I am so happy to see how well she’s doing there. The facility is beautiful, with an outdoor courtyard for the warm weather, and the staff there is so welcoming. It is clear they understand dementia treatment and know how to keep folks engaged and active. I feel so comforted knowing she is safe and in a positive environment!

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Memory Care neighborhood at The Lighthouse at Lincoln, and I was extremely impressed. The community was exceptionally clean, warm, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The staff created a positive and caring atmosphere that was evident throughout my visit. The residents looked happy and genuinely engaged in meaningful activities, which was wonderful to see. It was clear that the team puts a lot of thought into providing opportunities for socialization and enrichment. I was also impressed by the meals—the food looked delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Overall, The Lighthouse at Lincoln’s Memory Care unit provides a comfortable, compassionate, and inviting environment where residents appear to be well cared for and truly valued. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality memory care for a loved one.

My dad is a resident at Lighthouse, and the staff has made this transition so much easier for both him and our family. They have been incredibly kind, patient, and caring every step of the way. He’s truly made himself at home and seems to be thriving there, which gives us so much peace of mind. I live in Texas, so I can’t visit as often as I’d like. The photos and updates the staff regularly emails to families help me feel connected to my dad even from so far away. Seeing him smiling and participating in activities means more than I can express, and I’m so grateful for the care and thoughtfulness the Lighthouse team shows every day.

My husband has been at the Lighthouse since January. I was terrified to send him away from his home,The staff, during a home visit assured me it was the right time.They explained that when Alzheimer’s patients began to display unsafe behaviors it the the right time to begin 24 hour care. From the beginning, they have displayed warmth, kindness and overall love.The smiles displayed towards him as well as myself, family and friends, has been heartwarming and so appreciated.He loves the food and certainly eats his share. The facility is bright and beautiful. So clean and well kept.Support groups and learning opportunities are offered monthly and have been invaluable to me. I was at a conference the other day and the speaker stated, in different words but with this meaning. “ Some of you may feel guilty, you may have promised your love one that you would keep them at home. This was said without all the knowledge you have now. But what your promise meant is that” I will be by your side,I will visit you, I will be your biggest advocate, I will continue to love you like I always have.”I try to do that daily. I want to just something about price ,the price of care in general is a lot. Whether it’s infant, pre-school school age care, and so on. 24 hr. care is provided to keep our loved ones safe, and loved,The Lighthouse does just that. Do I wish the price was lower,yes of course I do.But I have been to see many other places and the price was about the same, the facility and interactions between staff and residents was not the same. I am so happy and thankful that he lives at The Lighthouse now.
