I’m very grateful for folks at the Lighthouse at Lincoln - Chloe and Hannah have been particularly supportive. The facility is beautiful and the staff is very well trained and welcoming. They offer tremendous support for the families of people dealing with dementia. And the food is awesome too. Their knowledge and understanding have been a great blessing for me.

The Lighthouse is a very welcoming community. The staff are very friendly and caring. Everyone who works there knows the residents and treats them like a family member. If my husband cannot live at home, this is the next best place.

I would highly recommend the Lighthouse. We switched from another facility and have been so pleased with the level of care they have given my father as well as supporting my mom with this transition through their family trainings and support groups. They train all of their staff with working with individuals with dementia. Most staff have experienced family members with a dementia diagnosis which is definitely observed with the compassion given to their residents. This decision is not an easy one but I know my dad is in the best care he can be with needing this level of care.

As a daughter, choosing a memory care community for my mom was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. From the very first visit, The Lighthouse at Lincoln put my heart at ease. The building is always clean, bright, and welcoming, but what truly sets it apart is the staff. Every person I’ve met from the front desk to the caregivers, nurses, activities team, and leadership, treats my mom with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. They don’t just “care for residents”; they really know them. They call my mom by name, notice when she needs a little extra reassurance, and celebrate her good days. I love seeing her engaged in activities instead of just sitting in front of a TV. She participates in programs, enjoys the common areas, and seems more relaxed and content than she was at home. The communication with families has also been excellent. I’m updated on how she’s doing, and any concerns are addressed promptly and thoughtfully. I never feel like a burden when I call or stop by with questions. Placing a loved one in memory care comes with a lot of guilt and worry, but The Lighthouse at Lincoln has given our family real peace of mind. I leave my mom knowing she is safe, respected, and truly cared for. I’m deeply grateful for this community and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family walking this difficult road.
