Overview
At Legend Senior Living in Allentown, PA, we offer two types of senior living solutions: personal care and memory care. All Legend residents enjoy amenities, services, and programs tailored to their individual preferences and abilities. Residents love living the Legend lifestyle, taking advantage of amenities such as a private movie theater, salon and spa, fitness center, and onsite chapel.
We thoughtfully designed the residences the Legend Senior Living to feel welcoming to residents, their families, and their guests. We also created a residence that naturally encourages socialization with neighbors and maximizes independence. For example, our gathering spaces throughout the residence are the perfect spots to catch up with a neighbor over a cup of coffee, chat about current events, or try your hand at a new card game with friends. In addition, thanks to natural, non-glare lighting, low-pile carpet, and intentional color selection, residents can enjoy an environment that decreases falls and increases independence.

Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Personal Care
Personal care involves assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility support to help maintain independence and enhance day-to-day life.

Recently took a tour of the facility to see if this was the right place for our loved ones. First impressions are a big thing and this place is very well maintained. Common areas are clean and current residents seemed to be relatively happy with being there which was a plus to see first hand. Rooms were clean and a good size to live comfortably. We had the pleasure to meet and talk to the current Health Care Director to ask a few questions and concerns we had. After speaking with her we could tell she truly cares for the people there. She made us feel comfortable with the way she answered and responded to our concerns.

We moved my mom into Legend a few years ago. She has made some very nice friendships, and truly enjoys living here. She feels safe and is very well cared for. No long term independent living community is perfect, however, this one is wonderful. The staff cares very much about the residents and it shows. I visit quite often and have seen first hand, the interaction of aids and residents. I really could not ask for more from them. Mom is very well cared for. The building is beautiful and very well maintained. Jason the maintenance supervisor, does a fabulous job keeping everything up and running, clean and sparkling. The new staff in the activities department, is doing a nice job getting a busy schedule of activities going again. I am very happy with Legend of Allentown and look forward to more good things from the new staff. Hope Reiss

Today, I was able to experience The Legend at Allentown. This community is well maintained kudos to the operations crew. I met with Tracey,Susie, and Leslie as they toured me around the community. Lots of activities going on, very active, lively community ! My dining experience I felt like I was in an elegant restaurant. During lunch, I sat with a few residents, and many chimed in on our conversation. We discussed how much they enjoy the food,activities, and size of their apartments as well as the staff and how "It feels like home." Thank you !!! Residents and staff, for todays experience, it was wonderful

My mother-in-law passed away last night after five plus years at the Legend Of Allentown. She was an original founder and enjoyed many years of comfort here. The staff was remarkable. For many years and through her final hour, they were catering to her beyond the needs that I would ever expect for an independent living facility. Things cannot always be perfect in these facilities, but it was clear that everyone there cares for one another. And what everyone searches for in life is love and support. And You will find it here! In addition to the people who moved here as residents, creating lasting friendships with mom, the wonderful and caring staff members, did as well. They created a community of love and support which offered my mother-in-law, and our family, much relief, as well as much love. We will forever be grateful to the residents and the staff at the Legend Of Allentown for the outpouring of love that they displayed to our mother, especially in her final hours. We would also like to recognize with high praise, the care team for hospice that did a phenomenal job in her final weeks of life.
