I’ve been to quite a few retirement communities around the area, and Laurel Springs really stood out from the rest. The layout feels open and relaxed, not crowded or institutional at all. It genuinely feels like a small, well-designed neighborhood where people can enjoy their independence. The homes themselves are a big plus, they are spacious, updated, and easy to maintain. Everything looked clean and thoughtfully put together. I also liked how quiet the area is, but you still have access to amenities like the clubhouse and walking paths if you want to stay active or meet people. Another thing that impressed me was how welcoming everyone was. Both the residents and staff created a comfortable, friendly environment, which says a lot about the culture there. If you’re looking for a place that balances independence, comfort, and community, this is definitely worth considering.

My Grandpa lives at Laurel Springs, He loves all the activities and he just went on a trip to Ft Worth the community took the heartland flyer train and he sent us photos having so much fun. This was the best long term decision he made.

Laurel Springs is a beautiful community with a wonderful Executive Director, Stacy Evans Speck, who truly cares about the property and the residents who live here. They have a robust activity calendar which encourages comradery and makes this collection of houses... home. It is a wonderful place to work and/or live.
