Always improving and caring community for our loved one! The amazing staff is very attentive to the residents. When our family member started to decline. We recieved a call from the head nurse Keith about our loved ones failing health over the last serveral days. Keith was respectful, informative and explained that the decline would likely not improve. Keith offered a in person meeting to discuss options for hospice care. We met with a few companies and learned that hospice is just not for the last few weeks or days of life, but can be for months especially when started early. We then made a very hard but necessary decison to pick St. Croix Hospice, the dedicated team has provided exceptional personalized hospice care our loved one deserves alongside and in conjunction with the wonderful staff at Lamar Town Center.

I cannot say enough good things about the administration and overall operation of this nursing home. The DON is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to both residents and staff. You can tell there is strong leadership here—communication is clear, and concerns are addressed promptly and respectfully. The facility is well-organized, clean, and welcoming, and provides excellent care. It’s clear that residents’ dignity, safety, and well-being are the top priorities. This is a place where families can feel confident their loved ones are in capable and caring hands.

I wanted to take a moment for who this may concern, your employee Nicole, I hear she's in charge of activities. My first concern is we had exchange words over the phone, at some point I felt like the conversation wasn't getting anywhere. She talks two others like they're stupid. First off you are no better than anybody. You should watch how you talk to people. It is very concerning knowing you're in control of activities with residents and that's how you speak to people. I know when I grew up when you ask a question you answer it politely. It doesn't matter if you don't like the question or you don't want to answer the question you just do it. You simply say I don't feel comfortable answering that or let me get somebody to answer that for you. When we had exchanged words over the phone and I felt like it wasn't going anywhere I had stopped talking and communicating with Nicole in activities. She took it upon herself to go ahead and start calling me from not her cell phone anymore but a facility, a business. So I took it upon myself to look at this number up and figure out where it came from and now I know it's from Lamar. It's very concerning that you have somebody there calling people and harassing them from a business line. This is a place of business for elders not somebody's personal problems. Thank you Nicole I want to thank you for calling me from your job. So I know exactly where to send the police the next time I see your phone number. When someone has a personal problem please continue to use your cell phone to talk about these personal problems. Not a company phone. Your main focus is elders. That is your job that is why you're there not to contact me cuz there's personal problems.
