Overview
Visitors to LakeHouse Manitowoc, our Assisted Living community in Manitowoc, WI, feel a sense of family the minute they walk through our doors. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs and wants of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is on-site five days a week and available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our transportation is available three days a week for medical appointments.
Our community welcomes pets and offers a variety of socialization/activities to allow residents to thrive in mind, body and spirt…daily exercise classes, card and board games, art classes, church services, baking and cooking, ice cream socials, book club, bingo, and happy hours with live entertainment. We also take our residents on weekly bus trips to shopping, picnics, zoos, and restaurants, as well as to the local senior center for bingo, music, and dancing.

My Dad, Paul has lived here for a few years. I am amazed at the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They make living there fun. I am a home health Physical Therapist in the Milwaukee area and go to assisted living facilities often. I have seen the good and bad. I could not have picked a better place for my Dad and would highly recommend it.

I can't say enough about all the staff at Lakehouse Manitowoc. The care takers think of the residents as their own family members. The cooks, cook with their whole heart and you can tell in the food. The housekeepers keep the whole building clean and smell free. I could go on and on, the maintenance staff, office manager, the RN, the ED, the activity team.

Lakehouse Manitowoc is fantastic, from initial tour, to an accommodated Sunday visit, from move-in through getting acclimated, this staff is top-notch! They are caring, personalized and professional. Every single team member has been respectful and helpful, gone above and beyond to help my dad get comfortable. Lakehouse Manitowoc is clean, food is amazing (my dad tells everyone), the care is personalized. I can’t say enough good things about Lakehouse Manitowoc. My family and I are grateful to have found Lakehouse Manitowoc for our dad for this chapter.

I had the pleasure of meeting Heather, the Senior Lifestyle Counselor at Lakehouse Manitowoc, this week, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, Heather was welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough in explaining everything the facility has to offer. She gave me a detailed tour, answering all my questions with patience and expertise. It's clear that Heather is passionate about helping seniors and their families navigate the often complex process of choosing the right living options. I left feeling highly satisfied and confident in the care and services Lakehouse Manitowoc provides.
