I had been looking for months for a place my parents could move to where they could stay together and finally found LakeHouse Cedarburg...my parents have only been there a week but we are all loving it! The staff has been so kind and helpful in our time of transition, my parents have been busy with a variety of activities and full from all the wonderful meals! I have thrown a lot of questions their way and have received prompt responses. I only wish I had found them earlier in my search!

LakeHouse Cedarburg has seen a very welcoming 100% change within their community with the hiring of their new leadership team, comprised of an Executive Director, Directo of Nursing, Sales and Activities. The highly experienced, professional care team are caring for their residents with compassion, patience and a smile. The cleanliness and the smells of the kitchen are welcoming as soon as you enter the door, and activities are engaging the residents. Welcomed by staff with a smile, and now available when needed. Truly welcoming, caring and engaging community. The community is active once again - GREAT job!

If you care about your loved one you won’t send them here. Their staff apparently all take break together for majority of the shift just sitting around on their cell phones along with having cell phone conversations in residents rooms. They won’t clean dinner tables and make disrespectful comments to residents. Lazy is the best way to put it. My loved one has sat for 3 hours after pressing a call light on multiple occasions. I have also pressed the call light and waited to be sure and it took 2 hours that time. Management also does not like confrontation and will likely ignore your emailed concerns. The food service is also very poor. I have worked as a nurse aid in nursing homes and assisted living 10 years ago and wow this level of carelessness is something I haven’t experienced before.
