The nursing care is so bad, it’s down right dangerous. The nurses were not doing their basic nursing assessments of listening to lung sounds. They discharged my grandma home with fluid in her lungs and audible crackling. Her home nurse arrived to her house to assess her two hours after her discharge and had to send her straight to the ER. If the nurses at Kingston were doing even the bare minimum of listening to lung sounds during assessments, they could have heard the crackling and treated the fluid build up. Instead they let her sit there for over a week being untreated and then gave her the green light to be discharged home. Disgraceful and incompetent nursing care!

Amazing group of people who cared for my mother for years. They made life for her comfortable and joyful. She spoke highly of everyone and I saw how they cared. Thank you so much Kingston you are remarkable people.

For the 2 weeks my mother was there for rehab the staff had been very rude, complains they have no time to handle request, food has been cold when given to the patient, and patients not able to get any information of what their vitals are and the nurse or med techs can't tell the patient what medications they are getting. The nurse staff does not follow the 5 rights of medication administration. The facility does not follow the Ohio Revised Code Title 37 Section 3721.13. This is a problem and patients in the facility have rights and this needs to be addressed.

My husband has Alzheimers and is now at Sylvania Kingston for the 4th time due to weakness etc. I can’t say enough good things about your facility. No facility is perfect but I do know you do the best you can with all you have available. I am so pleased to have you care for him again.
