Kingston Care Center of Sylvania Reviews

My mom recently spent a few weeks at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania. It’s a very stressful experience choosing a place for a sick loved one. However, from the moment I walked in the door until the day we left to bring my mom home, I felt confident that she was in good hands. All of the staff: nurses, therapists, admin, receptionists, and social workers were wonderful. The nurses provided excellent medical care and were kind and attentive. The physical/occupational/speech therapists were awesome. The facility was clean and beautiful. I am very thankful for the compassionate and excellent care that my mom received from everyone, and also for the courtesy and compassion that was given to me whenever I had a question or concern. I would highly recommend Kingston to anyone in need of their services.

I can't say enough positive things about the outstanding care my loved one received at Kingston of Sylvania. From the moment we arrived, the staff showed an incredible level of professionalism, warmth, and dedication. The nursing team provided exceptional medical care, always attentive, and responsive to every need. What truly sets Kingston of Sylvania apart is their genuine compassion. Every nurse, aide, and team member treated Nick like family—with kindness, dignity, and respect. A special thank you to nurse Evelyn and STNAs Nick and Monique! The customer service was equally impressive: communication was clear, timely, and always delivered with a smile. This is a place where people truly care—not just about doing their job well, but about making a difference in the lives of their residents. I am so grateful for the peace of mind and quality of care they gave Nick and our family during his final days of life. Highly recommend!

Overall my experience was outstanding. All medical and working personal were tip top especially, Tamyra Stan and Lori RN who was exemplary in helping me overcome broken hip difficulties. She was knowledgeable and kind and was a pleasure work with in my time of need.

I have my grandma here they let her sit in bm, the floor is dirty, he tv and television don’t work, she has a wound that the aid bump when they turn her, we asked the way out and the aid was rude. You can barely even get an aid to assist you. The administrator said to contact them and when I did the receptionist said she wasn’t in. My grandmas room before was so dirty and shes in an isolated room which should be cleaned for the safety of the staff and guest. The food always comes cold, she isn’t able to choose her food. They left clean linen in her room now it’s contaminated they just threw it on the chair in her room. They don’t help her open anything she needs help with. When she came back from the hospital they did not even feed her dinner even though she was there before dinner was served they gave her a pudding cup, Chex mix. One night I was there for dinner a lady across the hall said you know I can’t eat this and the aid walked away. They leave their trays in there for hours. The kitchen puts the wrong thing on the trays my grandma is 88 years old she doesn’t like sweet juices and they gave her kool aid today. This place isn’t the cleanest and I feel sorry for the residents who have to deal with the staff not properly providing the correct care to patients. She has a wound and they always let her sit in her bm for a long time. There are a few by that I mean 2/3 nice people.
