I am writing to express my concerns regarding a CNA named Andrea who works on the 400 Hall. During my mother’s stay, I observed behavior that I found unprofessional, discourteous, and lacking in compassion. Andrea’s demeanor toward residents and family members came across as rude and dismissive, which created an uncomfortable environment. Most concerning was an incident in which my mother was not offered a glass of water despite clearly needing assistance. Basic care, comfort, and attentiveness are essential responsibilities in a nursing home setting, and I was disappointed by the apparent lack of concern shown. Residents deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, kindness, and compassion at all times. The interaction I witnessed did not reflect the level of care and professionalism that families expect when entrusting their loved ones to a nursing facility. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and addressed to help ensure that all residents receive the attentive and respectful care they deserve.

There are not enough CNAs and I can only be present 10-12 hours a day. This morning a CNA (Amy) left my mom sitting on the toilet in the middle of clean up. When I arrived my mom had tried to clean up and get back to bed. She was covered in poop, and had to walk through poop to get back to bed. I then waited 30 minutes and went down the halls asking for help. I ended up cleaning my mom up myself and changing her catheter bag, dressing her, and cleaning up the floor. This is neglect and the administration (social worker Alicia) did not like that I was angry and told me patronizingly and condescendingly that I was in a professional environment. Of course I’m angry and frustrated that they would not allow me to speak and would only let my confused mom speak who didn’t know why they were there. I’d called the meeting to discuss MY CONCERNS and was shut down and not allowed to speak as my mom told a long-winded story about something last week. I want her out of there today!!!

I was there for rehab. I found almost the entire staff to be very helpful. The rehab staff was super and a shout out to Jennifer, Dennis, and Mandy who went above and beyond to make my stay a nice one. There were others who also were very helpful but I can’t remember their names. If you’re looking for assisted living or rehab you can’t go wrong choosing Kingston.

they mistreated my grandma and would constantly loose her stuff and would come in 40 minutes after her calling for them and sometimes we would have to go to the nurses desk and tell them that my grandma has been calling for them and no had shown up while they were eating lunch and telling jokes and not going to the patients that need their help and that the families had to directly tell them that their loved one’s needs help and sometimes they would leave my grandma in her own waist and not clean her up and she had constant utis i don’t recommend this place at all put your loved one’s in a different nursing home that will actually take care of them.
