Juniper Village at Newark provides a vibrant lifestyle, including assisted living and Wellspring memory care. Our active senior living community is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood just outside of downtown Newark, near Handloff Park and the University of Delaware. We are just a short ride into downtown Newark, a Great American Main Street winner!

My husband and I are very happy with not only the beautiful facility but the excellent care our loved one is receiving at The Vero. BJ DiDonato, Director of Sales and Marketing, was super helpful from day 1! She gave us a thorough tour and all the details and information necessary for a smooth move in date. She was, and still is always available for any questions or concerns we might have. Our loved one has adjusted well and has met several new friends. We are so thankful to BJ and the entire staff at The Vero!

There are no words that will truly articulate the love and respect I have for the staff at the Vero. BJ, Jessica, Ashley, Allison, Aking, Sherry (I am certain there are folks I am forgetting) are the quintessential definition of empathy, care, and commitment we expect as a provider of senior care for our loved ones. My mother is a resident now, but the journey to get her there was beyond challenging to say the least. BJ and her staff never let me feel alone and continue to support me and my mother every day. I emplore anyone looking for an assisted living community to PLEASE consider the Vero, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about the Vero! All of the staff and workers know my father-in-law both by name and by the things that he likes to do and talk about. When it was his birthday and he had to leave and go to rehab because of a fall, the secretary at the front desk made sure to send him flowers - not because it was a 'policy' but just because she cared. I was used to other facilities (not the Vero) having care managers on their cell phones rather than attending to residents who were actively trying to get their attention - but I have never seen that dynamic at the Vero. Staff are always engaging with residents promptly and with a smile. Between an interstate move and unique health difficulties we had to navigate 4 different assisted living options for my father-in-law. Now that we have found the Vero, it is night and day different, and we are here to stay. I had hoped the Vero would be different because so many residents there still have the ability to drive and make personal decisions about their own care - and I was right. When an assisted living facility has residents who could easily leave - but continually choose to stay - that's the loudest positive review that could possibly be stated. Thank you to all of the employees at the Vero!

I have had the opportunity to work with the people at Juniper Village from the very beginning when they opened 3 years ago. My Aunt Elaine was the first resident to move in and we as a family have been more than satisfied. We were so pleased that my wife and I have moved in my wife's father into assisted living and we are now in the process of moving my wife's mother into memory care area. Working with the people at Juniper feels like you are working with your family. They have taken great care of our family members. When a question or small problem comes up, they handle them quickly and professionally.
