Our active senior living community is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood just outside of downtown Newark, near Handloff Park and the University of Delaware. My husband and I are very happy with not only the beautiful facility but the excellent care our loved one is receiving at The Vero. BJ DiDonato, Director of Sales and Marketing, was super helpful from day 1! She gave us a thorough tour and all the details and information necessary for a smooth move in date. She was, and still is always available for any questions or concerns we might have. Our loved one has adjusted well and has met several new friends. We are so thankful to BJ and the entire staff at The Vero!

I have had the opportunity to work with the people at Juniper Village from the very beginning when they opened 3 years ago. My Aunt Elaine was the first resident to move in and we as a family have been more than satisfied. We were so pleased that my wife and I have moved in my wife's father into assisted living and we are now in the process of moving my wife's mother into memory care area. Working with the people at Juniper feels like you are working with your family. They have taken great care of our family members. When a question or small problem comes up, they handle them quickly and professionally.

Looked at over 20 assisted living facilities and picked Juniper for several reasons: Loved the overall closeness of the entire place. The staff is exceptional from the Director on down to all the nurses and aides. The marketing director actually visited me in rehab and stayed for almost an hour answering all my questions. The facility is beautiful and everyone on staff so friendly. The experience of moving in a dear family friend was amazing from the tour last year to the official move this year. A move like this could have been overwhelming for the family and residents alike, but the staff made it very smooth. And now she's meeting new people and the family is resting well knowing she's being well cared for each day.
