Juniper Village at Hamilton

I was very pleased with the experience my father in law had at Juniper Village in the assisted living section. Rosemarie, David and Kathleen did a fantastic job answering my many questions and were very kind and professional. Tricia, the director of PT, went above and beyond my expectations on so many levels. She is a true treasure and asset to the facility. My only issue was that they didn't provide a digital portal to keep track of my father in laws care. I would have loved to be able to see daily care notes and doctors notes. Also, they said there is a doctor that visits patients, but there is actually one nurse practitioner and she only visits the facility twice a week. I still feel it is a wonderful facility and the staff do a great job.

I've been a Juniper Entertainment Vendor in Hamilton since Feb 2025 and have to say this is absolutely the best place to perform my Shows, Concerts & Sing-A-Longs! The residents in Wellspring & Assisted Living are enthusiastic, respectful, engaged and a pleasure to perform for! The ENTIRE staff is welcoming, friendly, greet me with a smile every time I enter the building and always offering to assist me in any way possible. Shouts out to Bruce, Kat, Patrice, Sakiiyah, Suzanne and most of all to Shanna and Jazz for their unwavering support of what I do for their residents! Jennifer Juniper is a beautiful place it's a warm and welcoming place for residents. I am a singer and me and my partner go and play music there. The residents are always happy to see us and they look like they are in good care.

Dad began his new journey at Juniper at Hamilton in late July 2024. The transition from home to his new life was not easy. As we embark into the year 2026, it now clearly is HOME and its COMMUNITY of people. The down-home feeling starts as you enter the building. The open setting is clean and very embracing. That embrace continues with the Executive Director, Shanna, who is approachable and responsive. It is clear she has a passion for her job and her teams. The front desk team of Patrice and Patricia and others always say HI and ask how your day is going! To me, that recognition starts my visit off just right. The Nursing team is led by LaShawn who a strong support to her team and a stable presence since dad arrived back in 2024. Furthermore, I need to mention several from the Nursing team, Spring, Nicole, Kesha, Issac, Cyril and others take the very best to see my dad is cared for as if he was their dad. Kathy, the Nursing Liaison is a gem who is readily available to answer questions or find a solution. Then we have the awesome responsive Caregivers who wrap up a grand community supporting the residents. Romeme, Wahter and Claudia have been a stable presence for my dad over the last 20 months. There are so many other Caregivers so kudos to all. The Recreation team spices up dad's day with classes! He has become a gym rat and loves classes led by Mark, Kat and Susan. Powerback Rehab is a huge plus and a big reason we choose Juniper in 2024. They have monitored dad both while in therapy and out of therapy. Tricia and her team are continually lifting and inspiring the residents to live their best days. Monika and Adrienna, two caring therapists, have worked to keep dad young. Not an easy feat at 96. The dining team led by Bobby and his staff provide nutrition that fuels my dad every single day. He looks forward to every meal and rarely misses one! Then we have Dr. J who wraps her geriatric professional arms around dad and listens carefully and responsively when I am asking questions or need her advice. The road at Juniper has been met with some health obstacles but I am confident he is well cared for daily. The specialists who visit to aid in his health are a true blessing and a big bonus. Finally, I wish I could name so many others because truly the Hamilton team is unique. My brothers and I are blessed that each day we know dad is cared for by individuals and a team that makes it HOME.
