I have been to Juniper a few times over the past couple of months to gather information for my mom who is looking for independent living with the option of continuous care so she can age in place. All I can say is Juniper and the staff have been phenomenal. Most of my visits to Juniper have been unannounced but it didn't matter because each time I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly and receptive staff members - ready and willing to answer all my questions. They are incredibly nice, knowledgeable and courteous! The atmosphere at Juniper is very inviting and pleasant. I have been given a couple of tours and the place is clean, homey and very comfortable. The long and varied list of daily activities they offer is amazing; as well as so many other fantastic amenities. I highly recommend Juniper if you're looking for independent living to skilled nursing whether for yourself or your parent(s). My family is beyond thrilled that my mom will be calling Juniper her new home in the near future. Finding Juniper has definitely given our family peace of mind.

Our family highly recommends The Inn at Juniper Village in State College, PA to anyone who is looking for a safe, clean, and happy place for a loved one to live and receive assisted care. Deciding to place an aging parent in a facility is a deeply personal, and typically rather difficult, process. One family’s reasons will likely differ from another’s. We were initially attracted to Juniper for these reasons: 1) Everyone (staff and residents!) we encountered was warm, welcoming, and friendly. 2) Mom has always cherished her time outside, so the outside was as important to us as the inside. The Juniper grounds and mature landscaping are simply beautiful. 3) The staff were very flexible in working with us to accommodate mom’s particular needs. 4) The facility didn’t have any off odors like other facilities that we visited did. 5) The price was as reasonable as can be expected for the kind of care Juniper provides. Mom moved into Juniper 20 months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. After an expected adjustment period, Mom has settled in quite nicely to her life at Juniper. She enjoys attending the daily fitness classes and happy hours, as well as many of the other various activities offered. The nursing staff has consistently been responsive and caring. The food is reportedly very good. Mom loves sitting on any of the numerous porches and listening to the birds and looking at the flowers. We’re feeling now like we made a brilliant decision.

My mother lives in State College. Her children live far away. After finally realizing she could not continue living at home alone, and visiting several assisted living facilities, we chose Juniper Village at Brookline, The Inn. It was definitely the right decision. We worked with Cori who was very informative and understood how difficult it was to go through this process. She was very understanding of our concerns, and very reassuring, based on her experience. She made the transition for my mother, easy and comforting. My mother was very reluctant, stubborn, and scared to make the transition. Everyone at Juniper made the transition easy and welcoming. She has been there for 4 months. Cori and all of the staff enjoy their jobs, and you experience that. They care about my mom and enjoy being in her company. There are a variety of activities for the residents and they are always busy and active based on their interests. It is a relief and comfort to have my mom there.

I highly recommend The Pines at Juniper Village to anyone considering a move to assisted living. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, always making sure the residents feel cared for and comfortable. They offer a variety of activities that keep the residents active and engaged. The facility is clean and well maintained, with cozy common areas and beautiful outdoor scenery. My wife has been well taken care of and continues to thrive in her environment. My deep felt thanks to Cori Kulupson for her caring and encouraging help with her guidance into Juniper.
