Care

Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

Neighborhood

Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

My mother was here for about 9 months. There are some great staff here- to name a few: Tabitha the housekeeper (she should be a manager) , William the maintenance director and Mikayla at the front desk are really great. They seem to care about the residents, but unfortunately my mother had a really bad experience with the food. She would complain everyday about how terrible it was and would buy a lot of food to supplement her diet. It is very unfortunate, we wanted this to work so badly, but they need to improve many things. Namely and especially: the food, and also creative and interactive activities.

The friendliest family feel of any retirement center I've ever visited. The outdoor use space and common space are utilized regularly. Jill M, the director is a hard worker, has a high work ethic, and encourages team work by her example. She is compassionate and communicates both professionally and personally. My father is very happy here.

Edited to add, really impressed they removed the awful ED from this facility. Great job!!!!!! This place is the WORST retirement home… if you can call it that. The manager ‘Jill’ is the most unprofessional, rude, judgmental, angry woman who shows an insane amount of favoritism. I would never want my family member to stay here. They are SO understaffed it shouldn’t be legal. I’ve already reported this facility. I feel terrible for the hard working people working there that have to deal with such a ‘boss’, I’ve never seen such a joke of an establishment. As long as this vile woman with such horrid breath is still ‘working’ here… just run for the hills.

Junction City is a wonderful community and the current staff/management team are awesome with the residents, the new Executive Director Jill Maher is amazing, hard working and has so much compassion for the residents and her team. I truly believe that JC Retirement community is in capable hands under Jill's leadership and her team's support.
