Memory Care

These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

Needing memory care for a loved one is often a very emotional time and can be very confusing to navigate. We looked at various places for my dad, and Jefferson Lodge really stood out. As soon as we walked in, we could feel a calm, peaceful atmosphere, and the facility is impeccably clean, with no unpleasant odors that sometimes accompany care facilities. The ceilings are not vaulted, which helps memory care residents feel more comfortable and more like they're at home as opposed to an impersonal medical facility. The lower ceilings also prevent loud noises bouncing off walls, which can also be difficult for memory care residents. The common area feels like someone's living room, very relaxing and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even wear color-coded shirts to help the residents recognize who does what. JoEda, the Community Relations Director, was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient, showing us around the facility, explaining the services, and answering all of our questions, often more than once or twice as we attempted to navigate this new experience. There was zero pressure, just information, which we really appreciated. Pam up front is also very friendly and helpful. Moving in was stressful for all of us, but again, David and Lee were there to help get things labeled and organized. Stephanie, the Activities Director, went out of her way to welcome my dad and get to know him. She even got him involved in some games on his first day. Everyone there has treated my dad with compassion and respect, and I can't even name all of the care staff there who have rescued us at times with even some unpleasant tasks, and they are unceasingly friendly and kind. Debra is very kind to him, monitoring him and making sure he's not in pain, and he really enjoys the meals there. We feel very fortunate to have found Jefferson Lodge for my dad, and we are so grateful to the wonderful staff there.

My sister needed help due to memory issues, she is fit and active otherwise . We are very happy with the quality of her living in her new home. I have made many friends while visiting my sister. Their location has made visiting ez. Most of all, the staff has made the transition much soother than I expected.

I go to a lot of facilities through agency, and never have I witnessed what I have at this place. Care staff running and horseplay in the hallways yelling and just being loud like elementary kids in recess. This obviously makes a bad environment for the poor souls who live here.
