THIS REVIEW REFLECTS MY EXPERIENCE UNDER ABBEY PARK MANAGEMENT ONLY. My aunt stayed at Abbey Park for just under seven years. She lived 5.5 years in a deluxe room before we eventually downsized to a "Studio Pie." Both rooms were really nice. Abbey Park is a very nice facility that is upbeat and clean, located in close proximity to a hospital for emergency care if necessary. There are lots of activities, and they have a bus to take residents around town. My aunt was happy there, and none of us wanted her to move out. Due to the onset of dementia, the family felt it was more appropriate to move her to a memory care facility. The slogan is: "Live here...for the best of your life." That takes on new meaning after you have moved your loved one into memory care from Abbey Park. I have good memories of visiting, and I appreciated working with the staff there. My aunt moved in before the outbreak of Covid, and they handled it very responsibly. Abbey Park is an excellent facility with good people. Kathy the administrator and Nikki the building manager do a great job!

This place is incredible! The people who work here are warm and caring, always going the extra mile to assist residents or just to brighten their day. My mother in law lived here for 2 years and thought it the best place she ever lived. In those 2 years we saw no turnover of staff, which is very important for the elderly to have such amazing continuity. It is incredibly clean, bright and inviting. The food is delicious, with plenty of it. The Medical Team (a contracted company) is staffed by friendly, helpful and attentive people who value the safety of residents above all. I can't begin to say enough positive things about Abbey Park and the team who work there. Whether you need independent living or lots of assists, this is a wonderful place to call home.

I know someone here. I have not found the staff to be very accommodating. I have to wonder about any place for older seniors where staff is not available to even take a residents temperature while outbreaks of COVID are possible. It is a very expensive, limited care facility.
