Highland Place

We came to visit my husband‘s mentor and we were very impressed how kind and caring the staff treated the residence. It was very clean and the food looked very good. I like the ideal that they gave them choices for meals if they didn’t like what they were serving. they seem to have lots of activities and things going on for the residence to do. We came at Christmas Time and it was decorated very pretty. I felt like he was in a very safe place and well taken care. Thank you for all the care and love and respect you give to these residents.

My mother is 92 years old with dementia and macular degeneration. Three weeks ago we began investigating an assisted living place for her. She was receiving physical therapy from Pinnacle Home Health Care at the time. We live literally two minutes from Highland Place. I asked the supervisor from Pinnacle if she knew of Highland Place. She told me was just there that morning and it was the best place where Pinnacle worked with clients. So, we visited and my mother was positive about moving in. Two weeks ago she moved in under level two care for her conditions. I visit her everyday and attend activities with her (there are activities every day of the week, that she can attend voluntarily). She is always clean and well cared for. On Sundays they have her ready at 8am for me to pick up and take to church. My mother uses a walker everywhere and she has gotten stronger from having to walk greater distances than she did at our house. Her nursing and medication needs are done well. The food service is excellent. I have almost learned all residents and staff names. The residents are cheerful and the staff is caring. I gave a five star rating and am very happy with my mother's care. I recommend Highland Place!

This is a lovely place. They seem to really care about the people who live there. My mom and I went on a tour to see if she liked it and she really loved it. We joined the residents for lunch and the food was great. That’s really important to my mom. The activities sound great. There was a butterfly release a few weeks ago which sounded fun. Everyone seemed happy, and the employees seemed involved and friendly. My mom knows that this is the number one place she wants to move into, and she’s incredibly picky.

I came in to do a tour and Highland Place is beautiful. The butterfly garden is neat and I love it. There’s a full calendar of activities and residents look happy and well taken care of. Staff were very nice and helpful.
