Hickory Glen had very patient staff with our Aunt, while she lived there. We were very disappointed in how her time there ended. We were given 20 minutes notice that she could not return from the hospital. We were there over 2 weeks cleaning out her apartment and said if they needed anything to please let us know. 7 months later we got a forwarded letter from a collection agency. It had been sent to an incorrect address for the Aunt in memory care. I had to pay it to get information. I don't believe a bill had ever been sent until they sent it to collections. I contacted both Hickory Glen and the parent company with questions but they have never bothered to respond.

Hickory Glen has become my home. I am extremely lucky to be able to call everyone here my friend. We truly are one huge extended family. We have a wonderful group of residents who enjoy being active. The staff members go above and beyond to make sure residents needs are met and to help the residents live a happy, carefree life. The food is excellent, I purposely avoid bringing my lunch just so I can eat here! Hickory Glen is an amazing community and I am so thankful my great aunt is able to experience it!

This place is ridiculous. We pay almost 2600.00 a month. All housekeeping does is empty garbage, there has been no one at front desk since I don’t know when I went down at 6pm dark all doors locked. No night front desk people. Elevator breaks down everyday or so. Once elevator was down over three weeks this is a 6 floor building people with walkers, wheelchairs, canes and animals. My partner missed my uncles funeral cause she couldn’t make it up and down stairs. One elevator has been down since we moved in 17 months ago Hayes Gibson said they would have both elevators working jn 30 days that was over a year ago. Cable bill is included in rent peoples cable has been shut off due to non payment. I could go on forever I’m so angry we are moving I have 11 days to go and I can’t wait there are several people leaving and I’ve been told Hayes Gibson said they don’t care. This is quite obvious. And they had bed bugs for months and told no one till it got bad enough they had to treat the situation.

My father lived here for a short time but while he was here he absolutely loved being there! The food was just right for him and he was a picky eater! The people and staff always so very friendly, he never once locked his door and never felt any reason to have to! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to live here. My father has passed on but this was his last residence. Excellent place!
