We moved in 2 months ago and have adjusted nicely. The staff is wonderful but at times they are short staffed. Management is quick to address concerns. The inability for management to obtain servers and housekeeping is a definite negative. Lee and Paula Nordstrom

Hessler Heights is a fantastic full service independent living residency for family members. We recently moved one of our loved ones into Hessler Heights at Lansdowne and have been incredibly happy with the residency and its furnishings, the apartments, the quality of the food, the numerous amenities, and all the super helpful and welcoming staff members from the meal servers to all of the management office personnel. Highly recommend the location. It has been a great experience.

The staff is lovely. They have festive holidays & activities. The apartments are nice. The facility has services to help residents age in place. BUT… The big red flag is the dining experience. Residents have been complaining about the food for a year now. It is — at best — mediocre cafeteria food and it’s not uncommon for meals to be sent back. The parent company Hawthorne needs to get its act together.

My mom recently lived at Hessler Heights for 5 months, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their 55 and over loved ones that's between fully independent living and assisted living. The staff is very knowledgeable, caring, and kind, and you get your money's worth living here. Unfortunately, we needed a higher level of care, but we enjoyed our time here!
