When you tour Heritage they tell you a lot of nice things that don't happen. Once we put my mother in there everything changed. I had to find someone to clean her room and empty her trash cans. You can always go to the dining room and find several staff on their phones. Things are a little better now that I let them know that they were going to do the things they promise.

I have been here for a few weeks, staff are great! Residents are fun! Everyone here is very helpful and they offer a lot of activities. I would highly recommend this for anyone who’s looking for a good place to live that needs assisted living! My health has improved and I am very happy with being here! from -brad schroeder

My sister and I met with Kate and took a tour of the heritage. It is a beautiful place. Kate was very knowledgeable. A lot of activities going on. I know this would be a great place for our brother. Everybody we seen was extremely nice.

We are looking at local independent living facilities and received a comprehensive tour of the Heritage Monona facility. We not only met 2 very knowledgeable upper level staff, but viewed actual apartments of both independent and assisted living programs. We appreciated the openness and thorough presentations from each and felt comfortable making future arrangements to see one of the independent unit types we had not seen. The buildings were well kept and clean and their activity programs seem above average. We have other facilities to investigate, but Heritage remains on our list and we look forward to working with Irene and Joe, if it becomes our choice. Note: this was a free, “get acquainted” tour.
