Heatherwood is great place to live, work, and play. The residents are welcoming and gracious. Staff goes out of their way to attend to the residents needs. Wonderful!

I can't say enough about my experience at Heatherwood. I came with my Aunt and Uncle for an impromptu tour to check out the property. We were welcomed by the General Managers who both seemed excited about our visit. One of the managers then took us on our tour. He answered all of our questions with a smile on his face. The property was beautiful! This impromptu tour turned into renting an apartment. We couldn't be happier with our decision to move into this wonderful community.

This is supposed to be an INDEPENDENT LIVING FACILITY... However that is not the case. There are more than half of the patients, yes I said patients are in wheelchairs or needing an assist to get to the dining hall. They have a company inside the facility to remind for meds, shower, transport. This is not independent living. It's a blatant lie. The company that offers all these services is ran by a dental hygienist, and some of her aides are not certified to even pass the meds that they do. I would give negative stars for this facility if I could.

My wife and I were very happy with our visit to Heatherwood. We had high expectations, as both our father's lived at a nearby retirement home, owned by the same company (Hawthorn). We were visiting for my mom's needs. One of the managers, Christopher, was a fantastic host. I especially appreciated his candor. The building has just been renovated and looked beautiful, with lots of holiday decorations.
