I had a family member there for many years,at first the care was great, but as time went by not so good, room wasn't cleaned, care for her wasn't good, some nurses and aides were good but others not so much. They need to do better at informing families when things are going on. I wouldn't recommend them now at all.

I recently had my first experience with Hearthstone, and I was truly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this is a facility deeply committed to compassionate and specialized memory care. The environment was welcoming and thoughtfully designed to support both comfort and dignity for residents. Staff members were not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and patient in their interactions. It gave me a strong sense of trust and reassurance, knowing that those in their care are in such capable and caring hands. Hearthstone left a first positive impression, and I’m grateful for the peace of mind it's bringing.

I gave this facility a one only because I cannot give it anything less. I placed my mother at Hearthstone following a lengthy hospital stay after she experienced a stroke/seizure. I placed her there on a short term stay so that she could be given therapy in an effort to return home as she lived with me. During the short time that she was at Hearthstone (a little over a month), she experienced instant severe decline including being hospitalized more than once for UTIs, UNDETECTED covid, a blood sugar level in the 700s, bed sores and more. I roamed the halls multiple times when my mother was experiencing issues that I could not help her with and was seldom able to find a nurse or anyone to help. I had to constantly bring issues my mother was having to Hearthstone's attention as they were not closely monitoring her. She was also forced to stay in a room with a roommate that was very cold all the time, in a temperature that was not only very uncomfortable but very unhealthy for her. I was told that she could not be moved to a room that was normal temperature as all the residents were already settled and familiar with their roommates. My mother's room was set on heat rather than air conditioning in the 80s in the month of August. I requested multiple times to meet the Physicians or nurse practitioners caring for my mother to come up with a care plan and never did meet them. After the last hospitalization, my mother passed away shortly after. I would think very long and hard before placing a loved one under the "care" of this facility.

Family member of transitioning Forest day for Rehab. Have had friends and their family members stay there. Was very impressed with what I had heard and was able to speak with a staff member briefly due to the lateness of an hour. And they were very informative and very kind. First time for family member and I wasn't sure how things would go but I was very happy to hear that the transition start is going well. Thank you for letting me know that things are going well. I put my mind at ease
