Hayden Grove St. Anthony

My dad moved into Hayden Grove – St. Anthony shortly after they opened in 2023, starting in Independent Living, and recently transitioned to Memory Care. Moving a parent into memory care doesn’t come with a handbook. Even two months in, I still have questions, and the team has been supportive every step of the way. Executive Director Abby and her team, along with the nursing team led by Elizabeth, have been responsive, patient, and quick to answer anything I’ve needed. They helped me feel calm and reassured during a really hard time. They also partner with a physician’s office (and soon a dental office), which means I don’t have to worry about scheduling or transporting my dad to appointments. If needed, they can even bring equipment like X-ray and EKG machines right to the resident’s room. My dad thinks that’s pretty great, and he has no idea how much peace of mind that has given me. Abby’s team, including Jenny, Shelley, and Colin, are great. Jeffrey and Lisa at the front are so easy to talk to and always greet you with a smile, and Kelsey plans lots of fun activities. Everyone has been supportive, and most importantly, I feel confident my dad is safe and cared for. The building is beautiful, and every time I show his unit to others, they are in awe of how large it is and how independent it feels for a memory care apartment. The memory care area is secured 24/7, but it feels like regular apartment living. My dad doesn’t even realize he’s in the memory care part of the building, which says so much about how comfortable it feels. Having experienced both independent living and now memory care, I can honestly say this community is exceptional.

I phoned Shelley to discuss the possibility of moving my parents to Hayden Grove in St. Anthony. Although it will not work due to my parents moving to the EW very soon, she spent over an hour with me and made calls on my behalf to try to find another facility that may work for my family. She listened to my parent's story and was beyond kind, thoughtful and helpful. This was especially outstanding because she knew we wouldn't be able to move them to Hayden Grove and yet she still spent a lot of time with me on a Friday afternoon. Her care and support were just outstanding.

Really happy to be able to write a review for Hayden Grove. My husband has Alzheimer's and we are planning to move from Ft Myers, Fl to Minneapolis when he needs more care than I can give him. My son set up visits when I was in town last Friday. From the moment you walk in the door you feel something warm and beautiful immediately. Shelley Beckman is Director of Sales. Shelley will welcome you and make you feel like a family member. Shelley is so empathetic and kind and has so much knowledge about the 1st steps and future decisions as needed. Stopped by Hayden Grove in St. Anthony to learn more about their continuum of care. Shelley gave us a tour and answered all our questions. She was so friendly and knowledgeable that we thoroughly enjoyed learning about this particular Hayden Grove. The facility is new and sparkling and offers a variety of services. The residents we met were happy and engaged. They have a chef that cooks from scratch, a full calendar of activities, several well-appointed community rooms, and opportunities for residents to request more care as their needs increase. If you are looking to age in place, I recommend taking a tour of Hayden Grove in St. Anthony.
