My mother has been a resident at Hammond Glen for several years and has been very pleased with her experience there. She and I greatly enjoy both her fellow residents and the staff in all departments. Particularly the front desk and dining room staff are very friendly, courteous and accommodating. Maintenance requests are responded to promptly. Management is responsive and organized. Activities are well coordinated and diverse. Transportation is reliable and comprehensive. We believe that she is in a very secure environment. She very much likes her unit. Overall we are very pleased with having chosen Hammond Glen. Also of note is that 2 of Mom's granddaughters stayed in the guest suite for 3 days when visiting from out of town and loved being able to be so near. They were highly satisfied with the accommodations and service that they received.

Facility was top-notch. every morning exercise class was very helpful. Some waiting staff had attitude. I never got the TV in bedroom as promised. The table in room was too high for comfort. Maintenance person did not come once during my 2 week stay

My mother has lived here going on 3 years now. The food, service and amenities are all average, but consistent. The issue is that each year, the rent increases by 10%. Literally 10% each year. I guess they figure it is too much work to move when you are 90+ years old, so you'll just keep paying it until they have squeezed every penny out of you. Nothing is improved with this 10% increase, it's just more and more expensive. Clearly when we asked, pre move in, what the typical annual rent increase was and were told 4%, that was a total lie.

This community is very close to lots of shopping but tucked away from the main street. They have everything you need a movie theater, malt shop, salon, outdoor areas, gym, a personal care floor and very classy dining. Last time I visited, the building was going through a cosmetic remodel and the few rooms I saw were very stylish. There are so many friendly neighbors and everyone is treated like family.
