Greentree at Mt Vernon is a beautiful facility in our community. Great staff, clean, warm and welcoming. I’ve had the privilege to working with Shirley Henderson on some project in the community as well . She seems to truly love what she does and cares greatly for the folks living at GreenTree .They are also generous in helping in our community with other events and projects . I certainly would recommend letting my loved ones be cared for and live there.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about GreenTree at Mt. Vernon! The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, providing a warm and welcoming environment for all its residents. They offer a wide variety of events and activities that keep everyone engaged and entertained, making it feel like a vibrant and active community. A special shoutout to Shirley Henderson, the Community Engagement Director, who truly goes above and beyond in her role. Shirley's dedication and passion for her work are evident in everything she does, from organizing fantastic events to ensuring each resident feels valued and cared for. Her efforts make GreenTree at Mt. Vernon not just a place to live, but a place to call home.

My grandmother lives at Green Tree and they take such good care of her! She looks great, is involved with many of the activities they offer and genuienly is happy there! GT hosts so many events that are open to the public to come and interact with their residents. Shirley Henderson makes it a point to be involved in the community, constantly inviting others to come and visit with residents and check out their facility. This is a great place that is fun to live at and visit!

My mom was a resident for 3 1/2 years in AL with her own apt. When she 1rst moved in staff was great, food was great, etc. She was happy. We were happy. But.....a few yrs ago there was change in management and boy was it noticeable...food became horrible....numerous staff changes....and from the top down (Lana) they are mean, hateful and rude to the elderly...the staff make fun of residents behind their backs, evening shift I'd more concerned with put them to bed early so they can sit in lobby on their phones and eat. My mom after a fall there where she broke her arm in 3 places due to lack of assistance and a long rehab stay, as she was regaining her strength walking again at Greentree...she fell again Nov 23 later that day she was told by Lana that if this nonsense didn't stop she'd have to find another place to live, 2 days later she was positive for Covid. And due to the fall and hurting her foot/ankle I took her for x-rays etc, it was determined she needed surgery and as normal with elderly, numerous tests had to be done to clear her, Greentree was aware of this, and ALL her therapists stated for the record she was a 1 person assist, yet yet Greentree gave her a 30 day eviction. I will state everyday for 6-9 months my mom told me to get her out of there. I feel heartbroken for the residents who don't have family to stay on top of things. They're mean, hateful and unprofessional I could write a book on all the things I know and have learned since we moved my mom. The few good staff would tell me things that happened to my mom. I wouldn't trust Greentree to care for anyone!!!!! They need shutdown.
