Five Star Premier Residences of Yonkers

My review is solely based on a 1x tour of the premises. This was by far the most beautiful of assisted living locations that we looked at for my mother-in-law. If she was 5 to 10 years younger we would have absolutely considered placing her here. For her needs it was a little big but I was so impressed with the staff including Angela who gave us the tour. The place was a hotel prior and you can tell by the feel it was an upscale hotel. I saw activities with people involved, the dining room was beautiful, the activities were plentiful and the location was stunning. I recommend looking at this place if you're in need of an active community for a loved one although like any assisted living location you can do as much or as little as you want. I thought the grounds were beautiful to sit outside and the views from the stunning bedrooms especially those looking at the Hudson River where by far the nicest rooms we had seen. Based on what we saw, I would add this to a list when looking for a place for Mom or Dad. Again we didn't dive into everything including the nursing amenities (3rd party), etc. The clients that I saw there all seem to be very happy and very pleasant. A shout out to A Place for Mom (Joe Welsh) for recommending that I go and see Ciel on the Hudson.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ciel on the Hudson and the exceptional care they provide. I highly recommend Ciel on the Hudson to anyone looking for exceptional senior living with heart.

We moved our Aunt here about 6 weeks ago after two other facilities . We Finally hit the Jackpot ! I can’t say enough about Ciel and their staff . The place is a gem . Every employee is outstanding and they are so attentive and responsive and my aunt is in the memory care unit on the 2 nd floor and LaToya is the director and has been nothing short of Fantastic . I wish we found this home sooner . My aunt is happy and well cared for and safe . What a fabulous experience! Keep up the great work and Thanks for all you do . Many Blessings

My 97 year old mom has been a resident here for over 3 years. Some of her caregivers like Glennis and Myrna have been lifesavers, showing an abundance of love and care. My mom had been extremely worried and not sleeping because her retirement plan had threatened to cancel her pension because she was having difficulty proving she was alive. When Zuie Glasgow, the site social worker, saw her by the dining room, she recognized my mom's distress and immediately set out to put in place a process that took care of her problem. Her intuitive empathy made a huge difference.
