First Community Village is amazing. Their memory care unit (The Roxbury) is awesome. Their staffing and programs are wonderful. Their staff is so well trained. They are all friendly, talented, loving and knowledgeable. My family is so grateful for the care they gave our family member and us (as a family) and the progress he has made as a result. We also appreciate the support they gave us as the family. We highly recommend!

From the moment they set foot in First Community Village, my in-laws knew it was the right place for them. As the person who helped them manage their transition, I couldn’t agree more. The entire First Community team was exceptionally gracious and eager to help as we set about making their new apartment feel like home. Communication was outstanding. Questions were answered quickly and patiently. No request was dismissed, and even the smallest details were handled with care. That, along with the fact that the food is delicious, the grounds and buildings are stunning, and the other residents are exceptionally friendly and kind made the entire family feel as if we had made the perfect choice.

We chose to move into First Community Village for the following reasons : 1. First Community Village is considered one of the premier retirement centers and is under the ownership of the National Church Residences which headquarters are in Upper Arlington. 2. No more pulling trash containers to the curb, yard work or snow removal responsibilities. 3. Accessible transportation in very nice vans. Centrally located to all Columbus areas and close to RT 670. 4. There is a daily variety of activities and programs to choose from. 5. Beautiful landscape surrounded with hundred year old trees and safe paved walkways covering over 3 miles 6. Don’t feel like cooking---just walk to the dining room serving excellent food with a changing menu and nightly special. 7. A state of the art Wellness Center and fitness facilities. 8. You have easy access to friends old and new. Just open your door. 9. Knowing we have continuous health care regardless of our future health needs. 10 We have done our family a favor: we made the decision to move in because we wanted to rather than we had to. 11. We are simplifying our lives. We are remaining in our neighborhood. We have peace of mind.

Dennis and I moved to a FCV Manor Home in 2022. We loved the ambiance and neighborhood feel. Yet we were connected to residents in the Chelsea and Fairfax through dining, lunch in the Bistro and many community meetings and outings. In 2025, I lost my husband and moved to a smaller apartment in the Chelsea. I had lots of family support to facilitate the move logistics. But it was the Marketing group support to help me select the right unit and the emotional support of the entire FCV community that left me forever grateful for the 2022 choice to live at FCV.
