I visit my elderly friends here. They love it. They have so much activities for them. They do miss the chef that was on staff. They have complained that new chef makes more modern types of food and they're meatloaf, rueben, corn beef hash kind of gals. The place is always clean and bright when I visit once a month. One friend said she feels like she's staying at a hotel there. I will definitely consider moving here when the time comes. 5 elderly people from my condo moved here.

I visited a family member and was stunned by how amazing this place was, This place was amazing absolutely beautiful and the bald people showed me how bright your future can be, but only in the light. I played giant Jenga and bingo and I got a blackout! It was so clean and the old people were so wrinkly and nice one gave me a butterscotch. The people that weren't old were super awesome and catered to everyone's need. If when I'm old and this place still exists I'm coming here. Squeaky clean.

Fairwinds is a great place and I know what to look for since my mother has lived in another facility for a few years and I have over 30 years of experience working in congregate care facilities as a program director/behavior analyst and several years of experience consulting nationally with facilities that were having difficulties passing federal surveys. Whenever I visit my Dad there are lots of residents and staff smiling and there is lots of activity. After over a year and a half my Dad comments on every second or third visit about what a great place it is, how good the food is, and thanks me for finding it for him. Staff are very proactive and respond immediately to the smallest request. There must be something, but can’t think of anything that staff at Fairwinds could improve on.
