Awesome audience, super staff, and fantastic facility! Special thanks to the 90 years young resident Ruthie who joined us on stage with her puppet Arabella... and more thanks to the Fairview Estates residents Deb and Wayne who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMIES, wear our ventriloquist face masks, and help us sing "No Bully Zone". (No they did not sing at the same time. We're not that good.) This was our first of four Hawthorn Senior Living Boston area 2026 performances.

The sales rep, Lynne does a remarkable job. It's a pleasure to know her, as she provides a very pleasant, positive and professional experience. She provides the customers with everything they need to know and she is so helpful. She is highly recommended.

Update: Fairview Estates is still amazing. I’ve now been here six months, have made wonderful friends, and am participating in more of the free activities provided. My top-floor apartment has turned out to be perfect for my two large, longhair cats. Its hardwood flooring, and having enclosed stairways in the hallway, mean easy cleanup, as well as safety when the kitties occasionally follow me out the door! My electric hybrid vehicle is also safely charging in a garage space — which means using less gas, and no shoveling when our New England winter hits.

This facility and staff were very nice and answered questions about our concerns! Activities are plentiful! The only thing I was disappointed about is that there is no indoor/outdoor pool! Because of the time we had scheduled we weren’t able to try the food! Although we were offered refreshments I thought I may come back again to see more of the residents and maybe try the lunch or dinner! The rooms were nice but the mini kitchen area seemed dated and disappointed that there isn’t a stove in each apartment! I have been to another independent living facility in Maryland and each room did have a complete mini kitchen! I was surprised to hear how much was included in the monthly rent! Because I have just started this process of looking for independent living facilities I am not quite ready to make a decision! I would like to say that Kim Wallace (Assistant Manager)was very nice and she was able to answer any questions & concerns that my daughter and I had!
