English Meadows Manassas

I have been extremely impressed with the positive changes at English Meadows, especially since Julie took over as the new Director.It is clear that she has brought a fresh energy, compassion, and commitment to the community. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted warmly by the staff, and there is such a welcoming atmosphere. What really stood out to me was seeing the residents smiling, engaged, and genuinely happy. The cleanliness of the community was also very impressive, especially compared to other assisted living facilities in the area. It is wonderful to see the difference strong leadership can make. Julie and her team are clearly working hard to create an environment where both the residents and their families feel valued and cared for. I truly believe English Meadows is heading in a very positive direction, and I’m very impressed with all of the changes I’ve seen. Keep up the great work, Julie and staff! ❤️

My family toured English Meadows in Manassas on Aug 7, 2026. It is a beautiful, new facility in a quiet location of Manassas. It offers a variety of accommodations that feel like home. It is neither too large nor too small. We found the residents and staff to be very friendly, many activities were ongoing, and the dining rooms were clean and comfortable. The dining menus had variety and we especially loved the Bistro Cafe and the movie theatre (and popcorn machine!). We saw staff in training with managers. The carpets had recently been professionally cleaned so we appreciate that the facility invests in ongoing maintenance and cleanliness. Very important to us! Staff are located throughout the facility so there are attentive eyes on the residents and are available to assist as needed. The Management staff are caring, personable and were available to us and other family members who were in the facility at the same time. Facility is clean, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. If you are seeking care for your loved one English Meadows is worth personally touring and meeting the management and staff. We enjoyed a positive experience and know you will too!

My mother resides within Lavender Hills Memory care at English Meadows Manassas Campus since 2024. There is a MedTec, Melissa Breeden, who has always been a true blessing and lifeline for me and my family . As mom receives good quality care there, Melissa Breeden has demonstrated not only her experience and professional level, but she also goes beyond the observed norm within her responsibilities. Her demeanor, special caring approach, communications, and patience with mom leaves me and the family feeling very grateful she is there. Her communications with me have been reliable, professional, thorough, knowledgeable and forthcoming. During my conversations with her, I am aware her updates are based on her daily observations regarding mom's ongoing/changing personal habits, medications, and behaviors regarding personal care. She will even go that extra mile to send me a much needed video of mom that would put a smile on my face. If there is an area of concern for me that she does not oversee, she points me to that right person , or contacts me with feedback. Thank you Melissa for all you do for mom and other residents there. I always hope and pray that English Meadows knows what a valuable asset they have with Melissa Breeden

I really like the housekeeper who does a great job cleaning my apartment. She’s always friendly. Very attentive. My caregivers are very good at the job. I enjoy my meals too! Especially the salmon dinner. And the Business Office Manager is always so helpful.
