Elms Assisted Living

My loved one has only been at this facility for three days, and I am extremely disappointed with the level of care he has received. I understand that he is on hospice, but that does not mean he should be neglected. Hospice patients still deserve compassionate, attentive care and dignity. I’ve had to repeatedly call the facility just to make sure someone checks on him. Staff are not consistently checking on him, and they have not been turning him every two hours as they should. On one occasion, I informed the nurse that he was feeling sick, and she sat at the nurses’ station for about 20 minutes before going to his room. When I expressed my concerns, the nurse argued with me instead of addressing the situation professionally. This experience has caused me so much stress and worry that I have barely been able to sleep. Families should not have to constantly wonder if their loved one is being cared for. I sincerely hope this facility improves its level of compassion, communication, and accountability so that no other family has to go through this. If you have a love one there please check on them.. The patient is also walking around asking for help and they just look at them even though I understand it’s a memory care, but they are still people

My Mother-in-law was a patient there. I so appreciated Niecy the receptionist. She was such a help to me and my husband. When we came in to see Mom she wad a big encouragement to us. Her prayers were such a big help. We spent a lot of time there and her strong faith in the Lord helped to carry us through.

Hudson Elms has made a genuinely positive impression. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that this is a place where residents are treated with dignity, patience, and respect. The staff consistently demonstrates professionalism, warmth, and a sincere commitment to the well-being of those in their care. What stands out most is the noticeable improvement under new management. There has been a clear uptick in organization, communication, and overall atmosphere. The facility feels more attentive, more responsive, and more thoughtfully run than in the past.
