Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita Reviews

There seems to be so many reviews written by employees, which is important, but I think reviews written by people who are looking for assisted living are more valuable. So here it goes: my family spent a good deal of time researching assisted living facilities and decided on the Elison Bella Vita. So far we are quite glad we did. Every single employee smiles, interacts with residents, and takes close care of them. They all clearly appear to love their job. Some of those people with whom we’ve had contact with are Andrea, Executive Director; Angela, Marketing Director; Danny, Maintenance Director and his team; the entire nursing and med tech department; the ladies at the concierge; and Amy and Gizella (?) in the dining room. Speaking of the Dining Room, the food is astounding and varied. Finally, the apartments are spacious, and the common areas are well kept. Again, so happy this was our choice.

I’d love it here. I am very, very happy. My friends told me I sound happy on the telephone. Everyone is very compassionate and loving. I get a lot of pets on my back and hugs. I love hugs I would recommend Elison AL of Bella Vita to anyone who needs assisted living. I consider myself to be independent I don’t need help, but I have just started occupational and physical therapy also available on site and almost love it at this point. Over and out !

When I first moved in, it was great but today the quality in every area seems to go downhill. It is getting more like a memory care place. I am tired to see the staff drama in the dining room on which tables to serve. It is no longer a good fit for me at Bella Vita. We are searching for a better place. To be fair, there is not enough Senior Homes for the Deaf in USA so it is a hard situation …. No fault of yours.

Elison Assisted Living has gone down hill drastically in the last 6 months. Professional staff is now having to stop care giving efforts and shifts to dining and kitchen duties. The place is in disrepair - e.g. the elevators have caused immense burden on residents. My last visit before this week was a few months ago. It's suprising how quickly the morale and energy has eroded. Residents are yelling at the facility director in the middle of the open dining room for not doing his job. It's a complete disgrace. Prices keep going up while service goes down. My Grandmother is often left unattended. Sometimes sitting in the dining room for hours. The staff is hard working and genuinely care for their residents. This all appears corporate driven - increase fees and reduce costs. It's just a matter of time before something catastrophic happens.
